Paradise Cave

Paradise is a great cave in National Park Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Son Trach commune, Bo Trach District, Quang Binh, located in 60 km from Dong Hoi from the northwest.
The cave is located in the forest zone of ecological restoration of the limestone core zone of the national park of Phong Nha – Ke Bang.
Paradise Cave was discovered in 2005, British Caving Association discovered from 2005 – 2010 and in 2010 they announced this cave has a total length of 31.4 km, the longest cave in Asia. Because of the beauty of stalactites and stalagmites in the cave, they named this cave is Paradise. According to the Association of the British Cave Research, Paradise cave is bigger and more beautiful than the Phong Nha Cave.
Paradise Cave is a dynamic dry cave, Paradise cave has no underground rivers flow by as the Phong Nha Cave. According to a preliminary survey of the researchers, compared with the Phong Nha Cave, Paradise is much larger and longer scale. In Paradise there are cave stalactite and stalagmite fantasy. After the entrance road was built and put into operation for tourism from September 3, 2010.Touristors get off to walk or ride the 1.6 km road by golf car to concrete surface road under the forest, after that guests could come to the hill for climbing 522 stone steps to the cave entrance
